The Unions
The unions, SAG, AFTRA and Equity,
represent the industry each union has his own
contract.
The
Screen actors Guild (SAG) Governs actors and extras
appearing on film and voice overs.
The American Federation of Television and Radio
Artist (AFTRA) has jurisdiction over
live and taped television shows and commercials,
soap operas, disc jockeys and other radio
performers.
Actors' Equity Asociation (Equity) governs
performers and stage managers in live theater.
